On Saturday, October 10, all are invited to participate in a Eucharistic Procession from St. Monica Church to Star of the Sea Parish, a public witness of faith and devotion to Our Eucharistic Lord.

Eucharistic Rosary Congress, October 28 – November 4 2025
Many experienced the beauty and spiritual power of the Eucharistic Rosary Congress 2025, hosted at Star of the Sea Parish in San Francisco, California, from October 28 to November 4, 2025, in collaboration with Brothers in Prayer.
Over the course of eight days, the parish became a place of continuous Eucharistic adoration, hourly Rosary prayer, solemn Masses, processions, and deep devotion to Our Lady of Fatima. These sacred moments united hundreds of faithful from across California in prayer and worship before Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.
A particular highlight of the congress was the solemn Eucharistic procession held on Saturday, followed by a Pontifical High Mass celebrated by Archbishop Salvatore J. Cordileone of San Francisco in honor of the Feast of All Saints. The celebration drew the faithful into a profound expression of unity, reverence, and joy in the Church’s liturgical life.
Eucharistic Procession 2025
The Eucharistic procession, organized by Star of the Sea Parish in collaboration with Brothers in Prayer, was a living act of faith, where the Blessed Sacrament was carried reverently through the streets in prayer, hymn, and adoration. We also carried our statue of Our Lady of Fatima, beautifully decorated with one hundred flowers, as a sign of devotion and love. It was a public witness of devotion to Christ truly present in the Eucharist, as the faithful walked together in worship and reverence. Along the way, priests made themselves available to hear confessions, offering the grace of reconciliation amid the journey of prayer. Through this sacred procession, the Lord was proclaimed in the heart of the city, inviting all to deeper faith, prayer, and love for the Eucharistic mystery.
Pontifical High Mass with Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone of San Francisco
A Pontifical Mass is a solemn and richly ceremonial celebration of the Catholic liturgy, presided over by a bishop as a sign of the Church’s unity and fullness of sacramental life. Rooted in ancient tradition, it highlights the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with great dignity, sacred ritual, incense, chant, and the participation of clergy. More than a ceremony, it is a profound expression of communion that draws the faithful into deeper prayer, adoration, and reverence for the Eucharistic mystery.
