Liturgical Calendars at Star of the Sea Parish

At Star of the Sea Parish, we are blessed to celebrate the Church’s liturgical life according to two calendars: the 1970 Roman Calendar (Novus Ordo) and the 1962 Roman Calendar (Traditional Latin Mass).

Both calendars faithfully express the richness of the Church’s tradition and guide our worship throughout the liturgical year. By following each calendar in its proper context, we honor the unity of the Church while embracing the diversity of her liturgical heritage.

This practice allows the faithful to participate more fully in the rhythm of the liturgical seasons, feasts, and solemnities as they are celebrated in each form of the Roman Rite, deepening our prayer and connection to the life of the Church.
