Star of the Sea Parish warmly invites parishioners, families, and friends to a festive dinner celebration honoring the 35th Priestly Ordination Anniversary of Fr. Joseph Illo on June 29, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the Star of the Sea Gymnasium.

On June 29, 1776, San Francisco’s first Mass was celebrated at its Mission, and the City was born. On June 29, 1991, Fr. Joseph Illo was ordained to the Catholic priesthood. On June 29, 2026, he will offer a Solemn High Mass in thanksgiving to God at 5:30 PM.

In this historic spirit of faith and thanksgiving, we gather to celebrate Fr. Illo’s many years of faithful priestly service, enjoy fellowship with our parish community, and support Catholic education.

All proceeds from the dinner will benefit Stella Maris Academy
