In the heart of San Francisco is a Shrine to Our Lady of the Holy Rosary: 16 shrines to 16 approved apparitions from around the world. These shrines are located in Star of the Sea Parish in San Francisco, five minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge, between the City’s most beautiful parks, the Presidio and Golden Gate Park.

As a parish priest, I’ve prepared a brochure for every shrine with the essential historical facts and messages of Our Lady for each shrine. I invite you to visit this lovely shrine, to learn more about Our Lady’s visits to earth, to light a candle, to attend one of three daily Masses, each followed by the rosary, perhaps to go to confession, and to spend quiet time in Eucharistic adoration. Our shrine church is open for prayer and worship from 6 am to 7 pm every day.
