The Most Holy Face Devotion – every Tuesday in the Adoration Chapel.

The Devotion to the Most Holy Face of Jesus is a beautiful tradition in the Church that calls us to contemplate the Face of Christ, especially during His Passion, and to offer acts of love and reparation for sins committed against God.

This devotion was promoted in the 19th century by Sr. Mary of St. Peter, a Carmelite nun in Tours, France, who encouraged prayers of reparation for blasphemy and for the profanation of the Lord’s Day. The devotion later received ecclesiastical approval, and the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face was established by Pope Leo XIII in 1885.
Through this devotion, we seek to console the Heart of Jesus, honor His Holy Name, and grow in deeper love and reverence for Our Lord.
