The Feast of the Most Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ is celebrated at Star of the Sea with a Sung Traditional Latin Mass. This sacred feast honors the Blood of Christ, poured out for the redemption of the world and the remission of sins.
In the mystery of the Precious Blood, the Church contemplates the infinite love of Christ, who offered Himself as the spotless Lamb for our salvation. Through His Blood, we are cleansed, reconciled, and restored to grace: “You were ransomed… with the precious blood of Christ” (1 Peter 1:18–19).
Through the sacred prayers and chant of the Traditional Roman Rite, the faithful are invited to meditate on the sacrifice of the Cross made present in the Holy Mass, and to draw nearer to the fountain of mercy and redemption.
In this solemn and prayerful celebration, the Church gives thanks for the saving Blood of Christ and seeks the grace to live in holiness, redeemed and strengthened by His sacrifice.
All are warmly invited to participate in this sacred feast.
