The devotion later received ecclesiastical approval\, and the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face was established by Pope Leo XIII in 1885.\nThrough this devotion\, we seek to console the Heart of Jesus\, honor His Holy Name\, and grow in deeper love and reverence for Our Lord.
